Flamenco Show by Antonio de Veronica in Malaga

Flamenco dancer Antonio de Veronica is bringing his spectacular show – Flamenco y Arena – to the Malaga bullring (also known as La Malagueta) on July 23rd at 10pm. Money raised by the show will be given to Asamma – an association supporting women with breast cancer, a charity close to his heart.

Antonio de Veronica:

Antonio de Veronica was born in Malaga in 1984. He started dancing at the young age of seven years in his hometown with local dancer, Professor Elena. Later, this gifted performer continued his studies with Susana Lupiáñez. It was with Susana that he began to gain recognition by performing at different theatres in the province of Malaga and Nerja and further inland too.

Antonio de Veronica later formed his own flamenco company with Saray Cortés, an incredibly passionate dancer who has extensive experience not only in Spain but in many international venues, and it is with the fabulous Saray that Antonio de Veronica continues his training in the art of flamenco dancing.

¨Flamenco remains without masks and without shields as we want our audience to know us as we are, because on stage we feel free. The alternating performance of individual and group dancers, merge together, following the same impulses that music evokes and its finale is a feast of which the public is invited to share.¨ – Antonio de Verónica and Saray Cortés

Tickets are on sale at El Corte Ingles and AC Hotel in Malaga and are priced from 10€.
