AIA-Group Collective Art Exhibition 
in Mijas Costa

The AIA-Group (Andalusian International Artists Group) are exhibiting their work until 31st March 2011 at the Jinete gallery in Mijas.

The five members of the AIA-Group are showing new images in a collective art exhibition, each displaying eight images in watercolour, oil and acrylic.

AIA-Group Members:

Roger Cummiskey – ‘Roger paints in watercolour on themes and titles interpreted from the writings and wanderings of James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, Miguel de Cervantes and other Literary and Historical personages, as well as making abstract paintings in oil and acrylic.’

Richard Wood – ‘Richard Wood, a professional artist who paints in a representational style dramatic landscapes and architectural images in oil and watercolours.’

Vauney Strahan – ‘Strahan paints surreal landscapes in which she investigates the intercation of Mind and Matter and the relationship between our inner and outer landscapes‘.

Ian Hunter –  ‘Ian Hunter makes authentic art, which takes on the big issues and finds in the joy and grief of life an elegiac language of human forms in action.

Latest member, Nalini Cook, will also be displaying new images for your pleasure.

Karen Wilson, the gallery owner said “We are delighted to have these  artists of the Andalusian International Artists Group exhibiting at Jinete. Their works bring a fresh look for the season. They are in complete contrast to each other and yet are in harmony. It promises to be a delightful exhibition”.
