An art exhibiton titled, Arrivals Art, is being held at at Sala de Exposiciones in Málaga Airport Arrivals T3 from February 19th – 28th.
The opening reception takes place on the 19th February at 2pm and the gallery is open 7 days a week from 1pm to 6pm.
Arrivals Art is made up of seven artists from four countries:
Auli Suvanto from Finland
Enrique Linaza from Spain
Roger Cummiskey, Dolores Cummiskey and Philip Magee from Ireland
Richard Wood and Ian Hunter from the UK
The artists are members of the Andalusian International Artists Group (AIA-Group) and will each be exhibiting a selection of their artworks for Arrivals Art.
Auli will be displaying original oil paintings capturing natures fascinating explosion in colour and form during the very hot and relaxed summer on the Costa del Sol. The light, the colours and the scents in southern Spain are great sources of inspiration.
Enrique will be displaying images of Andalucía in oil on canvas.
Roger’s paintings in watercolour take their themes from the writings and wanderings of James Joyce, in which he specializes.
Dolores exhibits stunning cross stitch on canvas reflecting many long hours of patient endeavour.
Philip is a professional photographer who captures the ordinary in an extraordinary fashion.
Richard displays oil and watercolour paintings with themes from Andalucía and Venice.
Ian shows a highly individualistic and unique style in oil that challenges the senses.
The AIA-Group was formed six years ago by professional and dedicated visual artists from around Europe, who are all living and working in Andalucía. Arrivals Art is just one of the many exhibitons they have at present in Andalucía.
