Ballet Africain Sunugal presents next friday 6 March, at 20:30 in Centro Cultural Padre Manuel, Estepona its new show ‘Somanda’, based on traditional dance and music from the North West of Africa.

With this new show, ‘Somanda’ means sunrise in Mandinga language, the group comes back to the griots tradition of Africa, the storytellers in mandinga culture.

The company will show new instruments like seorubas, less known as djembes but really important to tell stories with a traditional sound from Casamance, in the south of Senegal.
