Cuchareo Week in Mijas – Traditional Spanish Soups and Stews

Cuchareo Week in CIOMIJAS invites you to try traditional Spanish soups and stews.

Would you like to enjoy the most exquisite Spanish stews and casseroles? From March 21st until the 25th, you will be able to taste a menu elaborated and served by the students of CIOMIJAS, which focuses on Spanish soups and other traditional dishes, for just 15 euros per person.

Cuchareo Week in CIOMIJAS is taking place at El Jardin de la Cala Restaurant in Mijas, every day from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

Cuchareo Week:

Monday 21st March:

Noodle stew with potatoes, prawns and clams with a mint aroma
Cream of lentils with fried vegetables and chorizo cream

Tuesday 22nd March:

Cabbage Malaga style
Soup with truffled egg, stir fried spinach and cured ham

Wednesday 23rd March:

Potato stew with almonds cooked with saffron, cumin and chilli pepper
Gazpacho with a Manzanilla white wine aroma

Thursday 24th March:

Tripe with chickpeas and mint flavour
Special fish soup

Friday 25th March:

Asturian Beef stew
Tomoto soup with cod au confit and an orange chutney

The Cuchareo Week menu also includes a main course to choose from and a tempting dessert created for you by the pastry chef.
