on Tuesday April 17th and every subsequent Tuesday at 10.30am the very popular ‘ACRYLIC PAINTING COURSE’ is held. April 17th will be concentrating on tonal values. (The importance of light and shade in a painting). All art materials included

On Wednesday April 18th and every subsequent Wednesday at 3.0pm there is a free PAINTING DEMONSTRATION by Caroline Hulse FRSA. The first demonstration will be with acrylics on canvas and the public will have an opportunity to understand how to create an original landscape in acrylic paint.

On Thursday April 19th and every subsequent Thursday at 10.30am you can join the group to ‘PAINT IN THE PARK’. Paint ‘Plein Aire’ under the guidance of a professional artist. Then discuss over coffee. All your art materials are provided.

On Friday April 20th and every subsequent Friday at 10.30am is the enlightening and very original ‘ABSTRACT PAINTING COURSE’. All art materials are included

On Friday April 20th and every subsequent Friday at 3.0pm is the ‘PORTRAIT COURSE’. All art materials provided

On Monday April 23rd at 5.0pm the ‘CHILDREN’S CLUB’ restarts with a 4 week oil painting course for children from 8 to 12 years. All art materials are included.

Every afternoon from 3.0pm you can POP IN AND PAINT for relaxation, guidance and enjoyment of painting.

Every course is suitable for artists of all levels.



Sees the start of lectures on the ‘HISTORY OF ART’. Every Wednesday – starting on May 2nd at 6.0pm come along for wine, nibbles and illustrated lectures on the History of Art. Afterwards participate in an art discussion.
