The Irish Club Marbella is holding a dinner at Avenue Café in Marbella on Friday, 8th April at 8pm. The evening will also feature live music by Scott Griffin and complimentary tapas on arrival.

Irish Club Marbella Menu:

Price per person: €20.00 (including a glass of wine or beer)

Main Course:

Roast Chicken Breast on Bacon & Leek Mash with Irish Whisky Cream Sauce
Traditional Steak and Guinness Pie – Slow cooked Steak pieces in a rich Guinness Stew with Vegetables topped with Puff Pastry and served with Baby Potatoes
Grilled Fillet of Dorada on a mixed Leaf Salad with Spiced Cous Cous

Dessert:

Home-made Apple Pie with Custard & Cream
Poached Pear with Chocolate Sauce

Spanish based local Irish artist Roger Cummiskey is currently exhibiting some of his works in Avenue Cafe.

About The Irish Club Marbella:

Set up in November 2009 by Finola Sloyan and Jimmy Nolan, the purpose of the Irish Club Marbella is for people to get together in a social setting giving friends and newcomers alike support wherever possible. One example of this is by holding events in Irish-run restaurants or bars for the Irish community either living or visiting the Marbella area.

Other events the Irish Club Marbella have held over the years include golf tournaments, debate night dinners, a Halloween pub quiz, joke nights after dinner and wine tasting with tapas near Mijas!

At this time, there is no membership fee and there are no plans to introduce one in 2011
