Nestor Plada Exhibition in Malaga

“Sedimentos”, an exhibition by artist Nestor Plada, is running until the 12th December in the Centro Civico, Diputacion de Malaga.

About Nestor Plada:

Born in Minas, Uruguay, Nestor Plada started painting early, developing his style from the young age of 16.

From 1987 to 2003, whilst living in the USA, he went on to exhibit his art, showing his pieces in Florida, New Jersey and New York.

During his extensive years of traveling in the United States, Nestor Plada continued to seek his creative vision and develop his art using his many journeys and adventures as his inspiration.

In 2003 he discovered the wonder of natural beauty on the Costa del Sol and came into contact with local Spanish art culture. Since then, Plada has participated in group shows and has been involved in various competitions in the community.

Nestor Plada continues to sell his work to private collectors all over the world such as in Australia, USA, South America and Europe.

My works are intended to be, as always, a vivid account of the smaller things, which can acquire a more intimate feeling, either by the outline of a house, a human figure or even rusty paper and always with a sensitive reflection arising from the exploration and use of contrasting language – Nestor Plada
