Perez Legal Group throws light on Spanish business and employment laws

Mijas seminarIn order to provide information to foreign residents on the rules and regulations that govern the process of opening a business in Spain or becoming self-employed, Perez Legal Group is participating in a seminar on Wednesday 3rd November at Ciomijas, La Cala de Mijas. Entitled, “Information and Support to Local Businesses” the seminar will offer useful advice to expats.

Speaker Raquel Pérez’s address, entitled “Formation of Spanish companies and self-employed workers,” will discuss a variety of subjects, including the advantages of starting a Spanish company, the best way to go about this process, the costs involved and the procedure of registering an SL (limited company) for business purposes. She will also be able to advise attendees on accounting procedures, the paperwork required to ensure a business’s continued legal status and the tax advantages available for Spanish residents.

Given Perez Legal Group’s ability to offer a full service to new and existing companies – including legal, accountancy and insurance services – this seminar will cover every aspect of opening and running a business. In Spain, no less than in any other country, the procedure is straightforward as long as the aspirant entrepreneur has an in-depth knowledge of the processes involved in registering the business, obtaining an opening licence and maintaining it with regard to the laws of the country.

It will also reveal how forming a company can be beneficial for Spanish property purchasers, gaining them all kinds of advantages.

Also in attendance will be members of CADE, the Business Support Centre of the Regional Government of Andalucía and representatives of local business associations who will be able to offer their unique perspectives to the proceedings.

In order to accommodate working people, the seminar will be held at 19:30hrs, which should allow all interested parties to attend. All participants will be given a copy of Perez Legal Group’s booklet, “Spanish Legal Property Information.” The charge per person will be 15€ and the price will include tapas and a glass of wine.
