Considering the rich gastronomic culture of Andalusia, a cooking holiday is indeed interesting with specialised culinary activities. And this one, specifically, brings the secrets of traditional Mediterranean cuisine when you start learning how to cook quality dishes.
A real restaurant, modern kitchen and the presence of resident Chefs together helps you to learn the recipe to prepare a host of versatile dishes. Of course, the Chef guides you with skills to select basic ingredients including olive oil and spices, which you will able to use at home.
Join the Cooking Class
Experience Box brings you this unique gastronomic activity with a cooking class organised by a local but renowned restaurant, located on the top of Torreblanca del Sol with a stunning view over the bay of Fuengirola.
It is decorated in a beautiful “cortijo” style that combines with rustic elegance. The leading edge style of food is contemporary, with its origin in the classic Spanish kitchen.
After more than 3 hours of hands-on cooking lessons with the Chef himself, guests will enjoy some wine tasting and be served the dishes they have prepared.
The cooking class is only a one-day course, held every first Wednesday of the month, although you can ask for private cooking class any day.
The groups have been reduced to a maximum of 14 persons to spend three hours in the kitchen with our chef Kasper Nielsen, and his team, preparing a full menu.
Either in the morning followed by lunch being served in the restaurant, or in the afternoon followed by dinner.
Example of menu prepared and eaten by the guests:
* Oven baked sea bass with fried mussels and parsley sauce
* Inner loin of Iberian pork with baked potatoes, carrot purée, shitake and onions with orange sauce
* Marinated cherries with crumble and vanilla ice cream
