STRIPPED reveals all in this wickedly funny, achingly honest and beautifully shrewd one woman show.
Based on shockingly real characters and exploits from Hannah’s pole dancing days, this show will make you laugh, cry, cringe and be touched (but that may cost extra!), as boundaries are pushed, rules broken, relationships abused and dignity tested, as the men pursue sex and the women compete for money in this gender struggle for power.
Centred around the impressionable newcomer, Baby; the innocent novice finds herself bombarded with ruthless club rules and surrounded by tough veteran strippers. She is manipulated and used, until she is finally forced to discover the depths of her sexual power and adapt from the exploited to the exploiter.
This play is entirely based on the life of Hannah, who has spent quite some time in the world of strippers, dancers and sex workers and not only lived that life but also wrote an excellent one hour play about it.
Who else could play the role of this stripper better than the woman who lived and loved it but herself?
Hannah has won many awards at last year’s Edinburgh Theatre festival for her outstanding performance and she is now working on a TV series based on her play.
The show is taking place on the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th of October at the Caprice Theatre in Marbella.
