The Marbella Awards 2011

The Marbella Awards 2011 is taking place on the 19th of November in the magical setting of the Puente Romano Hotel, with a host of entertainment and great prizes to be won.

About The Marbella Awards:

Organised by Essential Magazine, and in association with Jyske Bank Gibraltar, the original idea was conceived by Essential Magazine’s Creative Director back in 2006, with the aim to reward the efforts of those companies that strive to enhance our lives and make Marbella a special place to be.

Winners can feel justifiably proud as they display their People’s Choice seal as a mark of distinction, acknowledged by the Marbella Community.

The voting period, which officially began on the 5th of September, will last for 9 weeks until the 10th of November and the winners of each category will be announced at the glittering Awards Gala evening itself.

Another important aspect of the Marbella Awards is that of helping local charity. All proceeds of the Awards Gala evening, which is hosted in November and open to members of the public as well as the business community, are donated to local charitable causes. When you support the event, you also help those in need.

In 2010, the ticket sales and raffle on the evening itself raised €10.000 for the Cuidad de los Niños Children’s Home in Málaga who provide accommodation and schooling to disadvantaged children.
