Entrance to the marbella market. Its actually not that easy to find from the main street because bizarrely enough its hidden around the rear of the market.

You will find stalls with a variety of home ground spices which you can buy by the kilo. This stall has some wonderful natural honey

I did not know that there were so many varieties of salts available. They also have boxes of Maldon salt which of course is famous around the world but its worth trying some of the others as they really flavoursome

You will find a good selection of fruit and vegetable stalls towards the centre of the market who offer really nice fresh produce.

The fish stalls have a wide selection of locally caught fish. This stall always has really nice snapper, plaice and golden bream. When you buy fish always remember to ask the stallholder to clean the fish for you. They are always happy to do so and of course its always really messy to do it at home yourself.

There are many stall offering a varied selection of meats, far more than you will find in your local super market. Everything is always presented really well and I am impressed by the quality of the butchers in the Marbella Market.

I myself buy some nice plump and juicy stoneless prunes which I have with my weetabix every morning but there are all types of dried fruits and nuts available

You will also find many exotic poultry products. Just check out these eggs! There are several varieties of foie and pates at reasonable prices.

Here are some different types of dried peppers. I don't know if they are the spicy sort but the look simply scrumptious. I suppose they could also be used for decoration.

Here is the playground just outside and you can see the Marbella Market entrance in the background. The council recently had this lovely playground installed and its quite excellent.
