Marbella City Council in a latest press statement has announced to bring a public park in the area of Costabella, specifically in Cervantes Street. The municipal delegation of Works and Parks and Gardens will invest about 150,000 euros for the purpose.

“The goal is to create a recreation and leisure area for residents of Costabella and to this end is to restore for public use wooded parcel,” said the representative of the area of Parks and Gardens, Javier Garcia.

Garcia further explained that park would address the lack of green areas and playgrounds in that area, for which the Government is committed to develop equipments and infrastructure through various projects that also include creation of 5 public parks and 14 playgrounds in the municipality.

As per municipal plan, the park project would include implementation of pedestrian paths, spaces for games, plantation of existing tree specimens, installation of street furniture and lighting, among other to make this new area comforting and relaxing for visitors.

It is to mention here that both the urbanization Las Chapas and Costabella, located some 5 km east of Marbella, are two of the most preferred areas for living in those luxury villas and bungalows. Moreover, the super market area of Costabella and few large apartment developments also adding value to the region.
