In the tranquil village of Villanueva de la Concepción, nestled at the foot of the Torcal mountain range in Antequera the latest Andalusian International Artists Group exhibition is taking place in the Sala de Exposiciónes in the Ayuntamiento.

The seven participating artists from three countries are Enrique Linaza and Juan Cruz, Spain; Roger Cummiskey, Dolores Cummiskey and Philip Magee; Ireland;  Nalini Shanthi Cook and Richard Wood, UK.

The exhibition runs to the 22 May on Fridays from 5-8 PM; Saturdays from 11-2 and 5-8 pm and Sundays from 11-02. All are invited to an opening preview reception on Friday 06 May 2011 from 7.00-8.30 pm.

The AIA-ArtGroup was formed six years ago by professional and dedicated visual artists from around Europe who are all living and working in Andalucía.

The AIA-Group (The Andalusian International Artists group) was founded in November 2004 by professional and dedicated visual Artists from around Europe and South America, who are all living and working in southern Spain.

AIA-Group objectives:

* Encourage the members to promote their artwork.
* Enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in their careers as Artists.
* Promote best standards as Artists between people from diverse backgrounds.
* Provide a central marketing platform for media, public relations and promotion activities to suit each individual artist member’s requirements.
