La Casita Restaurant would like to invite you to their opening party on 19th April 2011

La Casita is situated in the beautiful village of La Heredia (5 mins up the Ronda road) and was opened four years ago by chef Lawrence Otterburn. Due to its enormous success, he has been able to expand and completely transform the restaurant creating a fantastic new dining experience.

Owner/Chef, Lawrence Otterburn has been cooking passionately for the past 25 years, he has worked in some of the UK´s finest kitchens and alongside some extraordinary chefs namely, Gordon Ramsey and Shaun Hill and has recently done some menu development at Will Rickers renowned restaurant E & O also in London. Prior to launching his own restaurant here on the coast, he was involved in the opening of the Liquid Lounge as well as being an executive chef for a group of restaurants in Puerto Banus in Spain.

La Casita will now be offering customers breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner, 7 days a week. There is now a progressive tapas bar where customers can enjoy cocktails, champagne and cava by the glass and miniature versions of the new menu. Offering mouth-watering dishes such as;

comfit duck, watermelon, pomelo & edamame bean salad, crispy aubergine

roast boneless suckling pig, swiss chard & bacon, black pudding & potato dim-sum

cinnamon stick donuts, rhubarb puree, cardamom custard gel

Restaurant dining is offered whilst watching the kitchen ‘live’ or through our ground breaking ‘kitchen cam’. There is now a comfortable lounge area and tapas bar. A luxury private dining room which also has live kitchen cam or any other multimedia facility required i.e. sporting events or conference needs. The magnificent terrace has extended for al fresco dining.

La Casitas new Bodega will now offer its customers an extensive range of wines, including fantastic locally sourced wines and beer.

La Casita will continue to offer the high standard of cuisine that it has become well known for, with now more of a fusion edge combining European and Oriental flavors.
