On April 25th, 2017, the United Nationalities of Marbella will hold their second summit at the Laude Elementary School in San Pedro de Alcántara.
Organised by Nicole King and televised via RTV Marbella Now, the aim of the day is to unite all the nationalities living here and give residents a voice to identify issues in Marbella and search for solutions together. Everyone is welcome to share their ideas and experiences.
From 10 until 2, there will be three sessions focussing on issues which relate to the three generations in Marbella –
• Young Children and Parents – Education, protecting the planet, bilingualism and cultural identity
• Teenagers – Things to do, further education and careers and integration with the Spanish
• Over 70s – Health care, nursing support, isolation, pensions and estate planning
Georgina Shaw from Shaw Marketing Services will be leading the event and participants will workshop to identify key issues and then make proposals to solve the most important issues. This will be an interesting, engaging day which will appeal to any community spirited individual who loves Marbella and wants to be a key player in making it an even better place to live, work and holiday.
From 2 to 4pm there will be a networking lunch, to continue discussions and make new contacts.
Registration is free for the event, and there is a 9€ cost for refreshments and lunch.
