Just 15 minutes drive from the Torremolinos centre, the Crocodile Park (next to Aqua Park) is an amazing option for an excursion from Marbella, or for those who are in their week long Costa del Sol trip. This is indeed one of the nicest places in Andalucia to take your kids with, for a fun filled day out.
As the name suggests, here you will find a good number of gigantic crocodiles – one of the fascinating creatures of the world – which has survived 200 million years of evolution. You can very safely spot these magnificent prehistoric carnivores, at close range, while taking a guided tour with live demonstrations and feeding.
The Crocodile Park houses some 300 occupants – from babies to the big Nile crocodiles. PACO, the largest crocodile in Europe, is 5 metres long and more than 500 kilograms weight. The park has constantly been engaged in re-population and breeding programme for conservation of this wild creatures.

Other than crocodiles, you can find a host of other animals and birds roaming in this very safe and natural environment of crocodile park. The Bird Reserve inside the Crocodile Park is the area where you can spot a variety of world exotic birds.
More to the fun list, the Mini Zoo is the best place to many more animals and birds such as West African dwarf goat, deer, racoons, emu, and mouflons, among others.
The Alligators Refuge is the special place to see a complete family of alligators from Everglades, Florida. At the Croco’s Nursery you can see tiny baby crocs in their enclosures. And you might even get a chance to hold one of many baby crocodiles.
