The Youth Delegation of Marbella (Delegacion de Juventud) has recently announced to increase the number of seats and reduced registration fee of language courses and computer program ‘Formar 2010’. The programme is to promote and provide employment opportunities for youth in Marbella.

Diego Lopez, the Director of the delegation, on February 24, while announcing the increases the number of seats to 768 in total, emphasized on the priority to train young people in the municipality with the aim of expanding their possibilities for finding work in the labour market and also to improve their personal skills in the performance of their functions.

This effort of Youth Delegation of the Marbella Town Hall is indeed laudable and the increase of number of seats with a course fee as less as 15 Euros per course. Anyone under the age group of 15 and 35 with a resident proof that studying or working in Marbella or San Pedro Alcántara is eligible to apply for the enrolment.

It is also informed that the same courses that were offered last year will be offered in four cycles to be taught simultaneously in both Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara.

Specifically designed language courses, with 40 seats each, are of Business French, German tourist and English to the public in a total of 48 hours of class duration. The classes for these courses are scheduled from 15 March to 21 May; from 24 May to 3 August, July 1 to September 3 and September 6 to November 10.

On the other hand, classes for computer course (30 hours) with 24 seats each for web design, contaplus and photoshop start from 12 April to 21 May, from 23 June to 3 August, from 2 August to 3 September and 30 September to 10 November.

There are four enrolment periods: from 25 February to 12 March; from 26 April to 14 May; of 7 to 25 June; and 9 to 27 August. Additional registration information can be obtained from the office of Youth Delegation of Marbella or San Pedro Alcantara from Monday to Friday (public opening hours: 09.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 21.30).

The courses will be held at the headquarters of the Youth delegation Marbella (located on Calle Jacinto Benavente, local 10) and at the headquarters of San Pedro Alcántara (Avenida de la Constitution, passage of La Libertad) but on different shifts .
