As a part of the Marbella Social Agenda 2010 (or Agenda Marbella 2010 Año Social), the Marbella City Council, through the municipal delegation of Social Welfare, has announced to hold the fifth annual meeting of rehabilitated alcoholics (V Encuentro Anual de EnfermoS Alcoholicos Rehabilitados de Marbella).
Organised by the Association of Rehabilitated Alcoholics Marbella (ARAMA) in collaboration with Social Welfare (Bienestar Social), the event is scheduled for Friday, April 23rd, around 18:30 pm at the Hotel Marbella Playa.
It will be attended by the Councillor of Social Welfare, Manuel Cardenas; the president of the Foundation for Intervention on Addictions, Fulgencio Benitez; Jose Martinez Peralta, head of Prevention Marbella Solidaria, and the President of ARAMA, Anthony Dominguez.
As a key part of Marbella’s social agenda, the meeting aims to encourage joint collaboration and greater and active participation of citizens, agencies and social organizations in the treatment of alcohol addictions with proper rehabilitation programme.
It invites the involvement of interlinked government bodies, private and as well as non-profit organisation. Primarily, this will function in coordination of Rehabilitated Alcoholics Association of Marbella, Foundation for Addiction Intervention Fulgencio Benitez, Rehabilitated Alcoholics Andalusian Federation and the Municipality of Marbella through the Delegation of Social Welfare.
