On Tuesday 4th May, Rose & Clavel Chartered Accountants will be holding the third in their popular seminar series about Nurturing your Business. This seminar will deal with the discrepancy between appearances and actual performance and will contain practical advice on how to improve your profitability.
Rose & Clavel have identified two “usual suspects” which contribute to this problem:
1. Insufficient profit margins set without a full understanding of turnover, cost of sales and overheads.
2. Mismanagement of cash-flow – this often arises from lack of understanding of your balance sheet and tax requirements.
This seminar will offer you practical steps that you can take to improve your profit margins, cut costs and fully understand the financial health of your company so you can make the right decisions. There will be examples to illustrate the points throughout and attendees will be encouraged to get their calculators out and start working out for themselves how their business is doing.
The seminar will be presented by Susana Serrano-Davey A.C.A, Founder and Director of Rose & Clavel Chartered Accountants. She is a Spanish national who is also a U.K. registered Chartered Accountant and has worked with prestigious firms including PriceWaterhouseCoopers Sheffield.
This has given her the understanding of both the Spanish and English systems. Susana is excellent at explaining complex issues in plain English and using practical examples to help business-people get to grips with their compliance responsibilities and learn how to manage their financial affairs more productively.
