Our Marbella people interview today is with Sandra Europe.
So Sandra, What do you do for a living?
I have been running a Ladies Club and a Business Speed Networking Club in Mallorca which has been very successful. I have now brought this new concept to the Coast here in Marbella which is also proving popular with business people.
Also i am a spinning instructor and concentrate on beginners and improvers to spinning as I don’t do ‘manic’ which can really put people off the fantastic cardio work out which Spinning gives.
What made you move to the Costa del Sol?
I first came to the Costa 4 years ago, when recuperating from a serious accident (fracturing C6 & C7 vertebrae and paralysed, more on all that on my Bio on my website) which was in the Channel Islands where i lived for over 30 years.
Tell us your greatest business or personal accomplishment?
One of my personal accomplishments was finishing the London Marathon when i was 40 in 5.5 hours. Also winning a rowing race from Jersey to France in under 3 hours.
Why would you recommend the Costa del Sol for business and Lifestyle?
It’s alive! With many vibrant, positive people. I love the sea, sun and mountains, a great contrast.
If you could change one thing about Spain, what would it be?
Asking the bin men to empty at decent hours not in the middle of the night! and barking dogs left in unattended apartments.

What is your favourite Restaurant and Why?
The Wok at Myramar, Fuengirola… You can choose all the healthy options and then get it cooked for you exactly as you want it.
What is the last film you saw at the Cinema or DVD?
Knight and Day
What advice would you give to someone moving to Spain?
Rent rather than buy to really get the feel of exactly where you want to live along the Coast as there are lots of nice places.
Name one other business you would recommend on the Costa Del Sol and why?
Costa Advice Bureau in Mijas Pueblo…. Lisa is very professional and takes all the worry if you are concerned about anything in Spain.

Speed networking is a new concept of networking and a much more structured approach to traditional business networking events.
