Dr Kai O. Kaye of the Ocean Clinic
Dr Kai O. Kaye is the Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Director of Ocean Clinic, a centre for Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery founded in 2008. He has been here for a little over 3 years and has embraced the Spanish culture with open arms.
How long have you lived in Spain and how long is your business established?
Dr Kai O. Kaye: I live in Spain since more than 3 years, after working over two years for another private clinic; I chose to open my own Clinic last year.
Why did you choose Marbella?
Dr Kai O. Kaye: I liked the idea of being able to perform aesthetic surgery in a very high standard environment, which I found here in Marbella, and to live my passion for the Spanish Culture and Language here in Southern Spain.
Tell us your greatest business or personal accomplishment?
Dr Kai O. Kaye: Having been able to establish my new clinic at a time of economic difficulties and already having quite a lot satisfied and therefore happy patients is my greatest business accomplishment, on a personal base the fact that I could integrate here so quickly and build up many great friendships with people from all over the world.
Why would you recommend the Costa del Sol for business and Lifestyle?
Dr Kai O. Kaye: The Costa del Sol, and especially Marbella is, despite of all political and economical deceptions of the last year, an open-minded, very international business place with room to grow for people with ideas and dreams. After rain there will be sun, and the businesses which will make it now will come out of it stronger.
If you could change one thing about Spain, what would it be?
Dr Kai O. Kaye: Leave it like it is, change comes with time anyway

What advice would you give to someone moving to Spain?
Dr Kai O. Kaye: Patience and an open mind for the Spanish culture, it is to beautiful to be ignored.

Dr Kai O. Kaye: Puro Beach, for its beautiful beach club and their great music.
