Neil WallerOur Marbella People Interview today is with Neil Waller from Neil is the owner of, an up and coming web portal about Marbella and the Costa del Sol. According to US Mag Business Week, Neil’s company is one of 15 businesses across Europe that shows the most promise.

How long have you lived in Spain and how long is your business established?

Neil Waller: I’ve lived in Spain since July, so not long but I’ve been coming here in the summer since I was a little one.

Why did you choose Marbella/Costa del Sol?

Neil Waller: My parents have a place in Puerto Banus and my grandparents used to own an apartment in La Alcazaba where we used to spend the summer annoying footballers on holiday.

Tell us your greatest business or personal accomplishment?

Neil Waller: is it, but that’s just the start.

Why would you recommend the Costa del Sol for business and Lifestyle?

Neil Waller: Like everyone says the lifestyle is second to none and the opportunities and potential of the Costa del Sol are great.

If you could change one thing about Spain, what would it be?

Neil Waller: That people more would reply to my e-mails more frequently and quicker!

What is your favourite Restaurant in Marbella?

Neil Waller: Casa Fernandos in San Pedro. Despite me not eating any fish or seafood, and them having and all fish menu barring 3 meat dishes, this place is amazing and has been my favourite for many years!!!

What is the last film you saw at the Cinema or DVD?

Neil Waller: Lost Season 2. Love that, 24 and the OC. Sad but true

What advice would you give to someone moving to Spain?

Neil Waller: Once you move don’t look back.

Name one other business you would recommend on the Costa del Sol and why?

Neil Waller: Shenanigans in the Port or BIKINI bar, where they always know your name.
