Cádiz presents the 7th Edition of the International Music Festival


The 7th edition of the International Music Festival begins on August the 10th and ends 4 nights later on the 13th in the pretty town of Alcalá de los Gazules in Cádiz.

International Music Festival Programme:

Wednesday 10 August, 10pm: Youth Orchestra of the Bicentenario
Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven

Thursday 11 August, 10pm: The Soloists of London with with SONY prizewinning violinist David Le Page.
Baroque Classics – Vivaldi, Bach, Locatelli

The Soloists of London is one of the UK´s finest ensembles featuring 11 hand-picked string players from some of the world’s most famous orchestras such as The London Philharmonic Orchestra, The Academy of St Martins-in-the-Fields and The English Chamber Orchestra. As well as recording Oscar-winning soundtracks from ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Harry Potter’, The Soloists of London also perform music for television and radio worldwide.

Friday 12 August, 10pm: The Soloists of London – Romantic concert by candlelight.
Mozart, Elgar, Barber, Rodrigo, Tchaikovsky

Saturday 13 August, 10pm: The Soloist of London will be performing with the leading singers of Spain and the director of the Teatro Real Madrid.
Verdi – La Traviata (adaptation with costume)

Six of Spain’s greatest young international singers will be performing La Traviata, many of whom studied in the renowned Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid. All of them are international artists in their own right and have performed on many of the world’s leading stages and at the Teatro Real in Madrid.

International Music Festival Prices:

From Wednesday until Friday: €7.50 (children: €2.50)
Saturday: €10 (children: €2.50)

Tickets for the International Music Festival will be on sale at the concert venue from 9pm. There are no pre-bookings available.
