CIOMIJAS presents A Taste of the Sea Gastronomic Week


From the 23rd May until the 27th May CIOMIJAS offers a spectacular culinary event focused on sea specialities, with the collaboration of some of the most important restaurants in Malaga.

Everyday an invited chef will work together with the CIOMIJAS culinary team and students to make it possible for you to enjoy a unique experience at the only hotel-school on the Costa del Sol.

CIOMIJAS Culinary Week Venues:

Monday 23rd: Hotel Puente Romano, Marbella

Tuesday 24th: Restaurante Frutos,Torremonlinos

Wednesday 25th: Restaurante Limonar 40, Malaga

Thursday 26th: Chiringuito La Familia, Mijas

Friday 27th: CIOMIJAS Y Escuala de Hosteleria, La Laguna de Baeza

CIOMIJAS and the Foreigners Department of Mijas Town Hall are also inviting you to participate in a raffle to celebrate the 2nd Gastronomic Week “A Taste of the Sea”. The fabulous prize is a very special tasting menu for 2 people and a one night stay at the Calamijas Hotel on friday, May 27th, 2011. Please not that beverages and breakfast are not included.

CIOMIJAS objectives are as follows:

To supply tools and promote strategies so that students gain the necessary skills to handle hotel, gastronomic, tourism and leisure companies.

To develop the students´capacity to optimize, improve and reorientate the resources of such companies

To contribute efficiently and effectively to the training of leaders. The must be capable of making enriching decisions, yet flexible with the continuous changes in the tourism and leisure industries.
