The Town Hall authority will host a Cultural Integration Fair (Feria de Integración Cultural de Marbella) from Saturday July 17th to 24th to highlight the cuisine and handicrafts of different countries such as Germany, Spain, Morocco and other Hispanic regions.
Parque de la Represa has been chosen as the venue for this week-long event which will not only showcase a range of traditional and handicraft products of various regions but also focus on their cultural identity with music and art.
A whole list of programmes include live concerts, parade of all participating countries, dance classes, costume contests, among others. On Sunday, there is also a children’s matinee show from 10.00 to 15.00 with games, clowns, face paintings, flamenco dance etc.
Beside, there are live performances of Afro-Cuban folkloric music, Pasodoble flamenco, Brazilian Batucada along with other daily concerts to promote multiculturalism.
