El Campanario Golf and Country House presents the exhibition SIEMBRA by Ricardo Alario until October 30th.
About Ricardo Alario
Born in Quart de Poblet, Valencia in 1959, Ricardo Alario has lived in Marbella since 1964.
His painting career started off with the help of the landscape maestro San Juan Perdiguero. He then attended the School of Arts and Crafts of Seville and Granada and in 1984 performed his first screen printing series in his own studio.
Naturally, in 1986 he formed, together with artist Pedro Ramírez, “Grupo ART’S”, a screen printing studio situated in San Pedro Alcantara, Marbella.
In 2003 he was appointed director of Galeria Silvart, where he organized engraving workshops that offered the latest techniques developed in Europe by local and international artists.
Since the opening of his studio in 1982, Ricardo Alario has arranged a wide range of exhibitions where many local artists have been teaching techniques in various specialised workshops with Ricardo producing an engraving and screen printing series for artists in Marbella. A large number of young people have trained with Ricardo Alario who have gone on to achieve degrees in Fine Arts, Architecture or have become successful exhibiting designers or artists.
He has also designed incredible murals, which are displayed from walls to domes in various buildings around Marbella.
At present, Ricardo Alario is the director of the Contemporary Art Gallery RGalería.
