The Hipodromo racecourse in Mijas is presenting their last day of racing for the summer and Le Chic is the hot venue for the racecourse party, today, the 26th of August!

Besides the great horse racing, the Hipodromo in Mijas offers a wide range of family leisure activities for all ages plus an abundance of restaurants, food stalls and bars available throughout the day selling pizzas, hamburgers, an Argentinean BBQ, Andalusian cuisine, kebbabs, cocktails and mojitos!

There is plenty on offer for children of all ages such as a bouncy castle, carousel, pony rides and jumping.

Talented pianist, Tony Carnotta will be performing at 9pm followed by Zumba Fitness organised by Passion Studios at 10pm. After each race, there will be fabulous dancing from the School of Fame.

The racecourse party, being held at Le Chic, will be having an “Americana” theme and party goers will have the best American music with live Supergroup STEREO 80 playing three sets, a Michael Jackson Dance tribute, Music videos on the screens and DJ BigM playing great rock, pop and dance tracks.

Authentic American food and drinks will be available at great prices with the nights special being a “Pulled Pork Sandwich with a can of Root Beer or Dr Pepper” for only 4 euros!!

Admission into Le Chic is free everyone in the race course BUT get in early to make sure you have a seat!

The admission price at the Hipodromo is only 5€ and for those under 18 and over 65 years, admission is free!

Free parking too at the Hipodromo!

The gates open at 8:30pm and the racing starts from 10pm.

The Hipodromo is situated in the Urbanisation of “El CHAPARRAL” on the Mijas Costa, in the heart of Costa del Sol, with magnificent views of the sea and Mijas Sierra.
