The Mijas Tourist Office, in collaboration with the Foreigners Dept. of the Mijas Town Hall, invites you to join them in the inauguration of the Exhibition of Photos from the Mijas International Festival 2010 on Tuesday the 7th of June at 6pm. The exhibition, by the Friends in Focus Camera Club, can be visited from 3rd of June until the 18th of June in the Tourist Office in Mijas Village.

Friends in Focus Camera Club are a group of friends enthusiastic about photography. The club is based on the Costa del Sol, where the sun, sea and light frequently enable them to enjoy ideal conditions for their passion for photography. The exhibition will be showing photographs of the Mijas Festival last year and gives you the chance to buy your favourites for charity.

A.D.I.M.I. is the Association for the Disabled of Mijas and has set goals for carrying out the aspirations and needs of its members and to improve the quality of life for its beneficiaries.

Due to the lack of resources in the area, A.D.I.M.I. was, from the very beginning, clearly focused on its priorities – working for the municipality of Mijas to build a Comprehensive Care Centre for people with learning disabilities.

Mijas Tourist Office opening hours are: Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 2pm.

The Tourist Office is situated on the lower square (Plaza Virgen de la Pena) next to the town hall.
