Marbella Masters Tennis 2010


The Hotel Puente Romano Tennis Club in Marbella will host the inaugural Marbella Masters Tennis scheduled from September 17-19, with some of the world best tennis legends.

This sporting extravaganza of Marbella Masters is expected to attract some 15,000 fans to a contest that will feature the likes of Martina Hingis, Mansour Bahrami, Jeremy Bates, Sergi Bruguera, Richard Krajicek, Pat Cash, Younes El Aynaoui, and Mikael Pernfors.

Hotel Puente Romano is situated right in the heart of Marbella’s Golden Mile, famous for villas and significant estate developments. This well-developed residential district between Marbella and Puerto Banus is about half-an-hour drive from Malaga International Airport.

In the recent past, the Club has already played host to many famous people, players and few noteworthy tennis events, including the 1988 Davis Cup Qualifying Match between Spain and Mexico and the WTA Andalucía Tennis Experience (since 2009).

Tournament organiser and event management company Northern Vision is offering a 25% discount on the first 1,000 tickets for the tournament.

Martina Hingis to play at Marbella Masters

Former Wimbledon champion, winner of five Grand Slam singles titles and nine Grand Slam women’s doubles titles, Martina Hingis has confirmed her participation in the event. Her vast experience and popularity in the circuit will certainly bring excitement among tennis fans.

Martina Hingis said: “I am really excited to be playing and competing in the Marbella Masters at the Puente Romano Tennis Club, especially alongside great players such as Richard Krajicek and Pat Cash.
