Open Studio Weekend is taking place in Gaucin from the 26th until the 29th of May from 11am to 7pm with studios and workshops exhibiting the work of several local artists and 3 guest artists.

An information stand will be available in the Plaza del Sano Niño in the village centre showing you where the studios are located this year.

If you have not visited Gaucin yet, then you should. Situated in the Ronda mountains, Gaucin is a beautiful white washed village overlooking Gibraltar and Africa. Because of these spectacular views, Gaucin attracts many artists from all over the world.

Gaucin has even been documented since the Pre-Historic Era with cave paintings existing in the township of Gaucin.

Art Gaucin exhibits a variety of painters, photographers, sculptures and printmakers that live and work around the village itself and attracts a number of visitors from all over.

How to get to Gaucin by road:

Manilva/Sabinillas – approx. 30-35 minute drive from the coast (N-340) and about a 25-30 minute drive from the A-7 toll road exit at Manilva.
Ronda is approx. 45 minutes away, Algeciras is approx. 1 hour and Ronda/Jerez approx. 2 hours
