A Personal Image Weekend Workshop in Marbella Old Town is being held on the 13th & 14th August from 10am-6pm with Jean Gilhead.
In this 2-day Weekend Workshop you will learn how to recognize your unique natural coloring and discover the colors that enhance you.
About the Personal Image Weekend Workshop:
We all have a unique coloring system to help us – eyes, skin and hair – and if we know exactly how it works for us – objectively not subjectively –we can always look and feel good.
Men generally don’t wear make-up, therefore have to rely 100% on looking good – or not – with the support of the colors of the clothes they wear. This often has little to do with which colours we like to wear or what we think suits us.
World authority on colour, Theo Gimbel, came up with pink for prisons – an experiment that continues still; autistic children too are responding to color therapy.
Hues that are used to calm are gentle and light, those which stimulate are strong and bright.
Black has been found to be generally counterproductive to inspiration and liveliness; responsiveness and originality are more likely to be present in people not afflicted by this ongoing fashion clothing trait, though many designers clothe themselves in this way while trying to convince us that the new, which they eschew, is for us!
For the Weekend Workship host, Jean Gilhead, (who was privileged to study under Theo Gimbel in the 80s), colour is a way of transforming attitudes about self and surroundings. From a background of communication, presentation and design in London, her own successful Image & Training Consultancy there and in Barcelona has helped her look at the ‘whole’ person. She found that when the correct colour coding is accepted by the person, the inner changes can be dramatic.
