Rachel Frederick Personal Trainer
Rachel has been a personal trainer since 2004 and has helped many people with their fitness. She has recently moved to Marbella to take advantage of the many opportunities available and of course the great weather!
How long have you lived in Spain and how long is your business established?
Rachel Frederick: Established as a personal trainer in 2004. Since then I have continued to further my education by learning new techniques to enable to keep my training fresh and versatile.
Moved to Spain in September with my aim to help people achieve a fit and healthy lifestyle, I love to train in a more functional way so I can teach my clients new ways of training the body, it’s also a great calorie burner.
Also I have a great passion for pre/post natal, for mums to be and new mummy’s wanting to get back into pre baby weight. There are lots of exercise and ways to train lightly with baby in toe!! Being personal Trainer is great; you get to meet all types of people from all walks of life.
Why did you choose Marbella?
Rachel Frederick: Marbella majority of the time the weather is warm, and there is abundance of opportunity here, you just have to go out there and look for it!
Tell us your greatest business or personal accomplishment?
Rachel Frederick: You can’t beat the feeling of helping clients when you see them smile so big, they know they are getting the results and are reaching their goals you can see they have more energy and confidence.
Why would you recommend the Costa del Sol for business and Lifestyle?
Rachel Frederick: The business opportunities out here are endless, everyone seems much more open to new ideas and concepts. The lifestyle helps you to work hard and then play hard, over here you can put in a huge day at work then sit on the terrace in the evening and unwind, or spend time in a restaurant on the beach and watch the waves lap the shore.
If you could change one thing about Spain, what would it be?
Rachel Frederick: To have sunshine 365 days a year rather than 360!!!
Describe yourself in 3 words.
Rachel Frederick: Energetic, fun, smiley.
What is your favourite Restaurant in Marbella?
Rachel Frederick: I don’t have a favourite but I like to eat in Orange square, it has a beautiful setting.
What is the last film you saw at the Cinema or DVD?
Rachel Frederick: Can’t remember the last film, since I’ve been here I haven’t wanted to watch TV or films, but my favourite film is “pay it forward”, Brilliant, touching film,. I recommend everyone watches it and follows to live their lives in this way. This is the answer to all our problems in the world. This formula is so powerful it will completely change your being.
What advice would you give to someone moving to Spain?
Rachel Frederick: Plan ahead and go for it, make your dream come true!!, I hate it when someone says “I wish I could” “I would love to do that”, its our world you can do anything you want, only you can make it happen!
Name one other business you would recommend on the Costa Del Sol and why?
Rachel Frederick: b2bespana and Internations are both great networking groups. Have been very friendly and also given lots of support and positive advise when new on the Costa.
