The international community of Manilva will once again be celebrating their annual X International Festival from Friday the 29th until Sunday the 31st of July at the Paseo Maritimo in Sabinillas, with activities taking place both on the promenade and the beach.
The X International Festival is being organised by the Foreign Residents’ Department of Manilva Town Hall in collaboration with local representatives of the various nationalities and will be celebrating the diverse cultures and traditions of the international community.
X International Festival:
The X International Festival will feature entertainment, music and dancing, and as usual the opportunity to sample the gastronomy with flavours coming from all over the world as well as having the opportunity to visit the many restaurants and bars on the Paseo Maritimo.
29 July: After the official opening of the X International Festival, headed by Mayoress Antonia Muñoz, on Friday night at 8pm there will be an extensive programme of entertainment on the main stage situated in the square just in front of the statue on the paseo.
30 July: On Saturday morning there will be children’s fun and entertainment from 11am to 2pm. From 1pm the individual tents will open for business, giving visitors the opportunity to sample the cuisine of the various nationalities participating. From 8pm the entertainment programme continues on the main stage.
31 July: At 1pm the party continues with the tents opening up once again with the entertainment continuing at 8pm.
The Paseo Maritimo in Sabinillas is the promenade that runs adjacent to the beach for almost the entire length of the village.
