Borom Tamba, a truly fantastic group of performers of African dance and music, is taking place on Saturday the 25th June at Havana Beach Bar in Estepona from 7pm to 10pm.
About Borom Tamba:
Borom Tamba first came together in 1999 and with their spectacular performances they offer the audience everything from exciting tribal rhythms, hypnotic songs, fire eaters, stilts, masks and a wide range of African instruments which intensifies the artistic choreography and individual dancers on stage.
The creation of Borom Tamba came after the union of Cheikh Montero and his master Mamadou Kane (soloist of the National Ballet of Senegal) when they decided to mix two very different cultures. Bambara is a reminder of the social values of the oldest ethnic group in Africa.
Borom Tamba interprets in their performances an atmosphere of harmony, prosperity and welfare, reflecting these feelings through dance and song using the rhythms of traditional instruments, their singing, dancing, acrobatics and theatre on a journey about their ancestors.
With beautiful costumes and with the vividness of colour and the elegance of the African woman, Havana Beach promises an evening full of cultural explosions where, at the same time, you can enjoy the calm waters of the bay overlooking the coast of Africa.
This fabulous beach bar offers great food too as well as delicious mojitos and beachy cocktails that will make you travel without leaving the beach! Don´t miss this great experience and a special evening with Borom Tamaba.
