On Friday the 25th of February, a truly fantastic flamenco show is taking place, performed by Antonio de Verónica and Saray Cortés (Familia Sánchez-Cortés) and Los Jóvenes Diamantes del Flamenco.

The performance is dedicated to the “Day of Andalucía” (bank holiday on Monday, 28th of February) and will start at 9pm at the Teatro Las Lagunas in Mijas.

Antonio de Verónica and Saray Cortés:

“This show is the message about the survival of flamenco. In our family we have four generations on stage, and the flamenco remains the same. We try to convey the way we live. Flamenco is our way of life.

Flamenco remains without masks and without shields as we want our audience to know us as we are, because on stage we feel free. This is a live performance with vocals, guitars, percussion, flute palms, culminating with the dancers, who are also instrumental.

This alternating performance of  individual and group dancers, merge together, following the same impulses that music evokes and its finale is a feast of which the public is invited to share. “ – Antonio de Verónica and Saray Cortés

Tickets are available at 10 €. The box office is open from Wednesday through to Friday from 5pm to 8pm or you can purchase tickets 2 hours before on the day of the show.
