Opening the Way Art Exhibition in Fuengirola

AIA-GroupOpening the way, an AIA-Group exhibition, is running until Monday the 28th February, with two of it´s leading AIA-group artists, Richard Wood and Nalini Shanti Cook.

They will be exhibiting a selection of their new works together in the Galeria Lucia in Fuengirola.

About the AIA-Group artists:

Richard Wood is a professional artist who paints dramatic landscapes and architectural images in oil and watercolours in a representational style.

Nalini Cook use oils, acrylic and mixed media bringing out the powerful colours of the Indian and Mediterranean landscape. Layers of paint, ink, ochres and mixed media are combined and reformed to create texture and mood. She often uses natural yellow ochres collected from mines in the South of France to evoke heat and colour.

Gerrie Gran, the gallery owner said “Richard is a well-liked painter and Nalini’s works bring a fresh look to this exhibition space…

Nalini’s paintings are ethereal themed on “ochre moods” derived mostly from Mediterranean landscapes which relish the colours of the sparse dry earth. Richard, will for the first time exhibit some of his marine paintings and distant landscapes where the sea and sunlight are truly inspirational. What a contrast! And what fun! Come and enjoy”.

Six years ago, the AIA-Group was created by professional and dedicated visual artists from around the world, who are all living and working in Andalucía.

The exhibition runs daily except Sundays until the 28th February between 12-4 and 7-11pm.
