On Friday, 25th of February from 4pm, the next race at the Hipodromo in Mijas is being dedicated as CHILDREN´S DAY and offers various activities for children. The entrance is free of charge.

On Sunday, 27th of February brings you the  XI Mijas Cup Day which is sponsored by the Junta de Andalucía.

The racing starts at 4pm with the gates opening at 3pm.

Hipodromo Race Day – 27th February – Mijas Cup:

Admission Price: 5 €.
Entrance is free for those under 18 and over 65 years
Season Pass: 20 €

Sponsored by the Consejeria de Turismo, Comercio y Deporte de la Junta de Andalucia, this family day out promises to be full of all sorts of fun entertainment for all ages.

The racing starts from 11am with the gates opening at 10am.

Both days at the Hipodromo offer a guided visit around the enclosure with the days entertainment to include a live Flamenco show, live music, free Paella tasting at Los Ardaleños and various bars and restaurants on site where you can feast on pizza, hamburgers, tapas, hot-dogs, an Argentinean bbq and wash it all down with cocktails and mojitos! Children´s entertainment is also available on the 27th.

The Hipodromo is situated in the Urbanisation of “El CHAPARRAL”, Mijas Costa, in the heart of the Costa del Sol, with magnificent views of the sea and Mijas Sierra.
