The Picasso Museum in Malaga is presenting Children at the Picasso – A Boxful of Surprises with Circus Cabaret Armando Risotto in their Auditorium on Sunday 28th November.
The Circus Cabaret of Armando Risotto
Armando Risotto is a sensitive and sweet eighty-year-old gentleman who is passionate about cooking and still works as a ring worker, ringmaster, and anything else that he can find. His variety show is unique and original because he has decided to present it as if it were a menu of a great banquet!
The artistes who parade around the ring are exactly the right elements for this special theatre menu. Using only the best ingredients, Armando presents us with a mouth-watering mixture of circus and cabaret featuring wonderful characters such as the trapeze artist, the motorcyclist, the mischievous singer-songwriter; the mysteriously enigmatic magician who is good at almost everything; the silky voice of the beautiful, sensual female singer and, just like in the olden days, a brief pause in the show that Armando most looks forward to: the traditional Ham Raffle!
The Spanish company TXO have toured the world with entertaining puppet shows and interactive family performances and this has got to be one of the best puppet shows around!
