The Lions Club Christmas Bazaar in Mijas

The Lions Club of Mijas La Cala are getting together on Sunday 21st November at the  Hotel Tamisa Golf in Mijas to hold a fabulous Christmas bazaar.

As well as lots of festive stalls selling home-made goodies, family entertainment and delicious food, special guest Father Christmas will be making his annual appearance! Children can visit him in his grotto from 11:30am to 5:30pm. All this plus a 2-course lunch for only 15 euros.

About The Lions Club

Martin Rhead founded the Mijas La Cala Lions Club in 1998. This formidable organization has grown hugely and has donated over 80.000€ to local charities as well as helping fund disaster relief appeals in many parts of the world.

Lions Club international has a massive membership of nearly 1.35 million men and women world-wide with approximately 45,000 clubs actively working to improve the environment, building homes for the disabled, conducting hearing and sight programs and their hugely successful support of diabetes education.

The Mijas Lions Club have set up DSG (Diabetic Support Group) and advise and guide, through specialised doctors and nurses, anyone who is a diabetic. Since the early days, the group have helped and assisted over 500 diabetics to come to terms with their condition.
