The charity Zonta are holding a Christmas Bazaar in Hotel Los Monteros in Marbella on the 11th of December from 17.00pm to 20.00pm.

Your donation and purchases will help hundreds of women and children in risk situations. This year the charity will support INPAVI and the Theodora Foundation.

About the charity:

Founded in 1919, Zonta International is a global charity organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy. With more than 31,000 members belonging to more than 1,200 Zonta Clubs in 66 countries and geographic areas, Zontians all over the world volunteer their time, talents and support to local and international service projects, as well as scholarship programs aimed at fulfilling Zonta’s mission and objectives. This includes improving the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status of women at the global and local level through service and advocacy.

INPAVI was founded by Louis Sagar Benito in Mexico City in 1982. Being sensitive to the needs of others, he gave his own home to six children on the street, offering them food, hygiene, clothing and shelter. From that moment he raised the question: How can we help?

In Spain, the Fundación Theodora charity was set up in 2000. Theodora is working in twenty Spanish hospitals in Alicante, Barcelona, Elche, Ferrol, Granada, La Coruña, Las Palmas, Madrid, Málaga, Tenerife, Toledo, Santigo de Compostela, Sevilla and Vigo. The Foundation Theodora carries out more than 50,000 visits in Spain to children in hospitals and their families every year.
